Our policy is to keep your information private and confidential. At no time will we ever sell or give any of your personal information or e-mail addresses to anyone.

~ Illegal Activity:
Logs are kept of all conversations in all chat rooms, but we do not monitor private conversations. If we become aware of someone planning something illegal the proper authorities will be notified.

~ Child Predators:
Posting images of children engaged in sex or solicited for sex is not permitted under any circumstances. If this happens the proper authorities will be notified and the chatter will be banned from the site.

~ Sexual Predators:
Sexual Predators of any kind are not permitted. If this happens the proper authorities will be notified and the chatter will be banned from the site.

~ Stalking:
Some people seem to get a charge out of continually following others around and harassing them, sometimes using different names. This is considered stalking. Stalkers will be banned from this facility. If you can't be an adult about chatting here, then leave. There are other chat sites that will cater to your childish behavior.

~ "0" Tolerance to Bullshit!:
Means just that. CE will not tolerate any "Bullshit" from anyone and the definition of Bullshit will be determined by the site administrator at that time. People causing Bullshit will be booted, banned or both. This is an adult chat site and people are expected to act accordingly, just as you'd want people to act if in your own home.

~ Rights:
This is a privately owned chat site. Although you have rights where you live, this chat site is not a democracy. We the administrators set the rules here. As a guest it is your responsibility to read the rules and if you do not like them then leave. If you break them you may be banned. There are other sites that will cater to your whims.

a.) We reserve the right to change, add, delete any content on this website at anytime without giving prior notice. It's your responsibility to keep informed by viewing and reading information on this site. We have the right to do anything we wish to with this chat site.

b.) As Chat Emporium is a privately owned chat site, we reserve the right to allow or dissallow anyone access to our chat site for any reason and we are not obligated to explain why.

~ Freedom of Speech:
Once again, this is a privately owned chat site and if we feel that your topic of discussion, language, etc., is not commensurate with what we want to see, you may be removed. You do have the right at anytime to leave if you do not like what is going on or if you don't like the rules.

~ Other Chat Sites:
The wearing/posting of tags and URL's pertaining to other chat sites, chat rooms and message boards that are deemed to be competitive to Chat Emporium, will be prevented from being posted or being part of an av string, meaning they will be filtered. As some are persistant and will continue with this, then they themselves stand the risk of being banned from this site. Admin of Chat Emporium does not condone advertising CE in other chat sites and respectfully requests it not be done here. The only exceptions to this are Chat Emporium's sister sites, Sizzling Chat, Sensuous Chat and CDOE. Others will need permission from admin. If you went into a Toyota dealer and started to promote a new GM line of cars you would be thrown out in a heartbeat.

Addendum: The site rules have been amended to reflect this as well:
"22.) Hotlinking or advertising of other chat sites or chat rooms or message boards not associated with Chat Emporium or the room owners at Chat Emporium is NOT PERMITTED. This applies to Chat Emporium's Message Forum as well. Unless Admin permission is given, the only exceptions are CE's sister sites, Sizzling Chat, Sensuous Chat and CDOE. This is a chat site, not a free advertising arena."

~ Graphics and other room components:
At no time can anything be copied from this site including graphics, text or layout without prior written consent from Chat Emporim.

Any and all graphics, banners, room names etc., that are created for the purpose of rooms and thusly given to Chat Emporium by the creator and once given to Chat Emporium, then Chat Emporium has the right to use that graphic, banner, room name etc., on the site in anyway it wishes and remains the property of Chat Emporium in the event the creator leaves or vacates the room. In the case of a room that is purchased and the lease is not renewed the room shall be taken down. If the room is abandoned then the room remains the property of Chat Emporium.
